Storm
Sunrise
sunset
I
go I do,
It happens everyday
We look upon,
The things of life,
And go along our way.
And
then we’re stuck
By
something odd,
It’s
way out of the norm.
It knocks us down,
We can’t get up,
In life it is a Storm.
We
gather up,
Our
selves again,
And
fight against it power.
We know we must
Not give up hope,
Through wind and rain and shower.
The
pain will pass,
Must
not give up,
Emotions
flow like rain.
Why questions asked,
Not answered now
Is driving me insane.
Why
people die
And
others live,
It
makes no sense to me.
But I am wrong
In life sometimes,
That’s how that it must be.
I
need to pause,
Reflect
my thoughts
Of
this I am most certain.
When death it comes
To all someday
Like walking through a curtain.
We’ll
see again
Those
I have missed
Of
this I am assured.
And those I love
Who went ahead,
Wait for me in God’s Word.
They
go before
To
make a place,
For
us to live together,
Where is no heat
Of day to burn,
Or threat of stormy weather.
When
sadness comes,
And
I feel bad,
I
close my eyes and say;
We’ll see you there
On the other side,
In peace and joy someday.
For
I must learn
What
God has taught,
In
life we all must fall.
Things worst than death
In life can be,
Not having lived at all.
